The setting of the movie was really interesting and liked how they did in a theatrical way and Keira is an amazing actress but I was disappointed of not seeing much chemistry between the two main characters .On the other hand I loved seeing all the scenes with Kitty and I personally loved Alicia Vikander´s performance she just lighted up every scene she was a part of.But I think it´s definetely worth a watch , it is very artsy though. I´d give a 7/10

The alluring tale of Anna Karenina unfolds beautifully on screen with lush costumes, spectacular set designs and a soaring score. Joe Wright's experimental direction takes you on a unique and visually remarkable journey. Keira Knightly was magnificent in her third collaboration with Wright. The acting by the superb cast was wonderful. This movie is absolutely captivating and fabulously gorgeous.

I've been waiting for months to finally see this and I was so excited when it finally found it's way online! This movie was simply amazing. I could not tear myself away. The ending was not what I expected! Definitely a new favorite!

i liked it, i think what i found most interesting was how it was filmed. it is filmed very theatrically and beautifully. almost every scene looks like a painting, and many of them look like specific impressionist paintings (though i don't know if that was done intentionally or not but it is around the same time period they were painted). so i'd have to say the artistic direction and filming was my favorite part about it

This screenplay played at the theatrical version of Anna Karenina. Its nice but I prefer the movie version. The cast is top notch but this particular adaption leaves much to be desired. And what..... why make Jude Law so unattractive? There is a lack of chemistry between the two protagonist as well. Wish I liked it more, I really do.

A superb movie all around, superbly crafted, a small masterpiece in costume design and setting. The acting was beautiful, entrancing, almost flawless. There's so much that I can say about this movie that appealed to me but I rather let the movie speak for itself. I unfortunately didn't read the book so it's hard to comment on the quality of the adaptation itself. Tolstoy was a master in writing, so I sincerely doubt that a movie could capture the immensity of his writing, but it's absolutely worth a try. However, I didn't approach this movie with those expectations, and so to me this movie was excellent all around. I've seen it twice already. Enjoy this wonderful piece of visual poetry. 8/10

This is the most intricately beautiful film I have ever seen. It's just astounding how many incredibly well informed and tasteful choices the director made. This is really so well thought out and so stunningly executed, and with a concept that is so academic in nature (the idea of Moscow as performative and claustrophobic) it is even more impressive to see it realized on screen. This is an incredibly theatrical film that even a theater couldn't do half as well. And with all that, the performances are still very present and the story is still paramount to the production. If I ever have a directing idea half as good as this and it is half as well done, I will count myself a lucky man. Watch this with a date. Bring tissues. Bring chocolate. Bring chapstick.

Well! I expect that of Keira Knightley she is always in those film. I watched 1 with her the another night call Victoria similar 2 this 1 but she didn't get 2 left her husband... She's a Brilliant actor & the film was enjoyable.. LOVE IT!! IT'S A MUST WATCH:)

I have 4 loves in my life. Music, Theater, Film & Books. Anna Karenina is an amazingly beautiful and touching story. I cannot say the same for this film even with it's amazing cast. It is chaotic to say the least and the so called scenes are difficult to follow unless you've seen it on stage or read the book and know the story well. I give this a 3/10 for style, 10/10 for cast and 6/10 for overall story. Peace! E.D.

omg! my last feeling of this movie was the sadness of her @#$%^&! if it was me I know no one can make me want to use my last breath! I respect vronkey for sticking to his love for her and how brave she was in the beginning like I was lafn my ass off at how she told her man she was having her lovers baby lol! what balls!nd this husband had mAD sensibilities and strength over his emotins cuzz wOAH keira was takn him threw IT! are and costume was pure majic and vibrant and induligig the set was literally a grand work of art .. I love keira and this movie is a ten for me!
