Ted “Golden Voiced” Williams also known as Larry the Jet Exposed For Not Being 100% Honest
We’ve all heard the story. A mere two weeks ago a homeless man living on the streets of California became an Internet sensation when a reporter posted a video of him panhandling and displaying his “golden voice” on youtube
.
Literally overnight Ted Williams also known as Larry The Jet, became a household name. Job offers began pouring in from several multi-million dollar companies all wanting a piece of America’s newest celebrity.
The world had fallen in love with both the Jet and the story of his inspiring second chance.
Not even 48 hours later he made an appearance on the “Today Show”and expressed to the world how blessed he was. He went onto say he had made a redemption with his mother whom he had not seen in 20 years and that he officially accepted a job voicing commercials for KraftMacaroni and Cheese .
The world had fallen in love with both the Jet and the story of his inspiring second chance.
Not even 48 hours later he made an appearance on the “Today Show”and expressed to the world how blessed he was. He went onto say he had made a redemption with his mother whom he had not seen in 20 years and that he officially accepted a job voicing commercials for Kraft
He also went more into detail about his shortcomings involving his run-in’s with the law, alcohol, and drugs which also included smoking crack cocaine and stealing a comic book from the market at age five and putting a whoopie cushion (fart bag) under the seat of the couch so his grandma would sit on it.
The Jet also noted an incident that he and his twin brother went to the movies when the Jet was ten, and saw a Tarzan movie. The Tarzan movie showed tarzan making a trap for the bad white hunters.
When he got home that day, he dug a trap three feet deep and then put thin bamboo poles like he saw in the Tarzan movie and covered the bamboo with leaves, and regular ground cover of soil under the clothes line in their back yard .

His mom came out , and as Larry the Jet watched a few feet away , hiding up in the tree facing the clothes line, Larry the Jet watched as his mother carried out three bundles of clothes in the August heat wave.,
Temperature that day was 103.
The jet watched as his mother started to hang the clothes on the outdoor clothes line , when after pining up six pieces of clothes, she moved to her right and suddenly staggered as her knee buckled and the Jet watched as his mother tried to upright herself and gasped and reached up to try and grap anything to hold her up, suddenly disappear with a slight glint of dust arising.
The Jets mother lost her dentures and fractured her ankle and a concussion.

One Saturday morning, Larry the Jet, at age ,18, shot his twin brother up into the air approximately ten feet where his twin brother landed head first on the cement and broke his arm and lost his two front teeth and a concussiion.

One Saturday night, Larry the Jet was alone with his twin brother for the parents went out to play Bingo. The Jet was 46 years old living at home with his twin brother.
The Jet laid on his back wearing boxers and told his twin brother to watch something that he had always wanted to try. That was to see if one could light a fart ,since a fart is gas, to see if a flame might occur.

Larry the Jet spread his buttocks ,with his legs spread up in the air ,and asked his twin brother to light the fart when Larry the Jet said light.

His twin brother lit the fart with a match which ignited a flame which caught his twin brothers clothes on fire and when the twin went to try and put it out, he tripped over Larry the Jet and caught Larry the Jet on fire.
Both then tried to smother it out including each other by holding on to each other but that ignited both of them.
Larry the Jet and his twin then rolled over on the carpet which caught fire and both rolled outside the window to survive but not the home which burned down.

Suddenly,the world knew of all of this ,and Larry the Jet , aka Ted Williams, fell from grace from the world for Larry the Jet not forthcoming on every single incident in his life, and now the world wonders what other secrects he may have.
The world knew nothing of this, and news of Justin Beiber and Serena Lopez on going love affair and Lance Armstrongs on going character mixed in with Hugh Hefner getting married were the worlds focus.
A detail I am speculating that his new employer was not aware of either. Apparently, to most people his troubled past did not matter. What mattered was how much people perceived the heart-felt and inspirational situation by overcoming a troubled past.
All the love for the Jet did not last very long. The very same day he appeared on the “Today Show” I happened to catch Danny Bonaduce on television discussing the Jet story.
His jealousy was more than apparent- saying he was mad at the Jet. . Bonaduce went on to say ”The Jet stole my life, did a better job than I did, and did it all within a 48 hour time frame.”
I found Bonaduce’s conversation about the Jet to be very distasteful and upsetting.
The segment only fueled my assumption that Bonaduce was jealous of the Jet by saying how dangerous it was to pick a random person off the street and offer them the world etc
In the days to follow, the Jet had gained quite a few haters/enemies.
His father, whom Larry the Jet had not seen for fifty years, called the Jet collect from Detroit
According to the Jet, they had nothing to say since they had NOT communicated in fifty years but was good to hear from him since his father also is homeless and was doing well financially by asking for money on freeways in New York but was laid up recently due to being mugged.

All over the Internet there were bitter ex radio personalities bashing him and his comeback story. I myself read a few which spanned from him being undeserving of his new-found fame to people making assumptions on when he would find himself back on the streets.
Then as if you couldn’t see it already coming, additional dirt had surfaced about Williams when it came to his child support obligations.
Needless to say the words “deadbeat dad” was used loosely. Williams has nine children was being publicly scrutinized because he had fallen behind with child support. Uh hello? The man was homeless for 10 years!
Then on Wednesday, yet another blow to Larry the Jet reputation was exposed- BY HIS OWN FAMILY!
Earlier this week the Jet made an appearance on the Dr. Phil show. [Will air this Thursday] Dr. Phil confronted the Jet with claims from his family that he had been drinking on a daily basis. A accusation that contradicts the story that he had been sober for over two years.

Dr. Phil had the Jet admit he has a problem and urged him to go into a rehabilitation clinic, to see Dr. Phil weekly on a retainer, seek guidance from an ex alcoholic, and get a job at a liquor store using his knowledge of alcochol to help others.
Larry the Jet seemed to agree and Wednesday afternoon and told Dr. Phil that he and Dr. Phil should go out bat hopping after the show to discuss it and Dr. Phil said he had to ask his wife for permission.
Here is where I predict the story of Larry the Jet and his amazing comeback is going to take a turn for the worse. Media outlets like yahoo, TMZ, and others have already written stories about the Dr. Phil taping and more importantly him going into rehab

Will the Kraft corporation release the Jet from his employment? That remains to be seen However if they do, will the companies who were so generous by offering him a helping hand just a week ago retract their offers? It is certainly a possibility.
Now that the news of his entering rehab has come about, more and more people are going to question on if hiring a former homeless, crack smoking, petty thief was a good idea.
I feel the people who loved him last week and hating on him this week are nothing short of hippocrates. How does someone go from having all the faith in the world in Williams to none in the time frame of only a few days? The man had a drug problem and was clearly upfront about it.

The fact that he is being accused of drinking everyday since his new found fame is not good, I acknowledge that. What else did anyone expect from a person who has had to do whatever was necessary to survive living on the streets for 10 years?
I feel people wanted to believe he was some sweet old man who had fallen on hard times and not that of a man with a criminal background.]
The man is still a human being and deserves to be treated with the same faith that people had literally a few days ago that he will rebound from his current situation
I can easily say no one reading this has been hit with the enormous amount of attention and temptation that the Jet has faced in his week of being thrown into the limelight. People tend to forget he was homeless two weeks ago!

I am still rooting for you even though it is likely you will be facing a huge backlash once the Dr. Phil episode airs and the news of the rehab hits the majority of people. I would also like to say I have faith that he will emerge a truly drug and alcohol free individual once he completes the rehabilitation.
This story continues to be inspiring in my eyes.
